[Project Development]-

Tasks for the week:

Assignments-:

Track the progress of your final project by answering following few questions:-

1-What tasks have been completed, and what tasks remain?

2-What has worked? what hasn't?

3-What questions need to be resolved?

4-What will happen when?

5-What have you learned?

My final project is SMART Heat Retention Box-:

1.What tasks have been completed, and what tasks remain?

Tasks completed :

1-CAD design - Designing 3D parts in solidworks such as covers for trasmitter, receiver , wheels for suitcase, clamp arrangement for wheels, Chasis for suitcase etc.

2-3D printing - 3D printing different parts such as covers for trasmitter, receiver , wheels for suitcase, clamp arrangement for wheels, etc

3-Electronics Design - Designing circuits (Preparing schematic & board layout)for transmitter, receiver & main control board

4-Electronics Production - Milling the boards, soldering the components and making the final PCBs

5-Embedded Programming - Developing an algorithm and writing code as per the algorithm. Also, testing same on the hardware

6-Laser cutting - Laser cutting parts required for chasis of suitcase

7-Making Suitcase from foam - Preparing a suitcase structure from foam

Tasks remaining :

All tasks are completed as per the plan. So, no tasks are remaining.

What has worked? what hasn't?

I am happy that everything is worked and the suitcase is able to follow the user properly. All designed parts fittled properly during the assembly. Also, all three circuits worked as per the expectations.

What questions need to be resolved?

There are as such no questions to be resolved as far as final project is concerned.

What will happen when?

Here is the gantt chart prepared for final project.

What have you learned?

Many things are learned during this course. Being an electronics engineer, CAD design,, 3D printing & scanning, molding & casting etc were new things for me. I got a chance to learn about these processes, to make hands-on while completing assignments of all these processes.

Things/Processes I learned during this course and used in my final project are -

1-CAD design

2-3D printing

3-Electronics Design

4-Electronics Production

5-Embedded Programming

6-Laser cutting

Actual Need Why-

One of the main inspiration for making a heat retentions box is because in this institute, during dinner our insitute's cook leaves the premises after 5 pm after making all the food ready for all and there are 100 people taking the food. But the dinner time is at 8:30 pm , so the food is left for up to 3 to 4 hours before it is consumed which leads to cold and taste less food which can also cause other digestions related problems. If my final project is applied here, this could solve some of this issues and help the members of the institute to enjoy good and warm healthy food.

All the people who need a heat retention box are mostly students and those who go out for work and cannot eat food at the right time, due to which the people have to eat cold food due to which some people become ill by doing this I am creating a Smart Heat Retention Box in which we can see the temperature in it, our food can stay warm for 3 to 4 hours.

My idea

My idea is that we can make smart heat retention boxes according to the utensils. First of all, we will prepare a box. You can give the length of width according to the utensil. After that, we will make a layer from inside and between 2 inches to 4 inches. In that part I can make aluminum spread or grow grass. After that, a water-proof polythene will stop it from inside and on. So that the inside water which we will put to heat the food.

After that, the place inside it will be made equal to the utensils. And there will be a box lid above the box that can close the box properly so that the air does not penetrate inside the box. There will be a display on the side of the box that will show me about the temperature of the food. In this box I can stay warm for 3 to 4 hours and we do not need gas or other things to heat food.

Final Product Heat Retention Box

Assembly

Fest I assemble the box and next step inside the box 2cm insulation in glasswool and put a pot 25 liters this pot bottom side fix a heating coil 250 watt .and heating coil up side one part. the part support in food pot.and properly fix the all component and temperature sensor fix pot inside area and the temperature is fix 45 to 50 degree 50 to up and 45 to down auto cut. all electronic parts for make one box and the box inside my final board, relay board and temperature display Oled, mane switch, indicator and all wearing systems

Electronic connection

I used fest step 230 volt ac input in the indicator and then connect relay board relay board input power 5 volt threw my final board because my final project board input and output 5 volt dC,project board input power I used 5 volt adapter. Relay board output 230 volt for heating coil.and temperature sensor and o LED input power and signal going threw my projector board .
